Facilities Technician

Our client, a leading provider in facility management, is seeking a Facilities Technician to join their team. As a Facilities Technician, you will be part of a dedicated maintenance team supporting the overall functionality and safety of the facilities. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Facilities Technician
**Location:** Spartanburg, SC
**What's the Job?**
+ Monitor the facility to ensure that it remains safe, secure, and well-maintained.
+ Troubleshoot power, HVAC systems and controls, and mechanical systems.
+ Maintain general & preventative maintenance, carpentry, plumbing systems, and vendor management.
+ Replace lighting system bulbs and ballasts as needed.
+ Move office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other materials, as requested.
**What's Needed?**
+ High school diploma or GED required.
+ 5-7 years of experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
+ Basic knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
+ Small plumbing background with good mechanical skills is preferred.
+ Willingness to be trained in company procedures.
