Aerotek is looking to hire several skilled Facilities Maintenance Mechanic to join our team for the night shift to work for a well known company that manufactures paper cups and plates in Chicago. The pay is up to $35 an hour and you can start immediately. If you are interested please apply to this job posting and a recruiter named Patrick will call you within 24 - 48 hours. **Title** : Facilities Maintenance Technician **Pay** : $30 - $35hr **Location** : Chicago, IL **Shift** : 6:45PM - 7:00 AM **Schedule** : Week 1 - work M/Tue/Fri/Sat (45.5 hours) Week 2 - work Sun/Wed/Thurs (36.5 hours) **Responsibilities** + Perform heavy HVAC work, including maintenance and repair. + Maintain and repair chillers and towers. + Work on scrap vacuums, bailers, gearboxes, bearings, and shafts. + Handle compressors and compressed air systems. + Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment. + Maintain facilities bathrooms and manage water supply systems. + Perform painting and pipe-fitting tasks, including sweating and threading. + Rebuild centrifugal pumps and fix seals on pumps. + Conduct basic electrical work, such as changing fuses and contactors. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic team in a temperature-controlled, fast-paced environment with advanced, automated equipment.
