Facilities Technician – Building Management
Auburn, WA | $38/hr | 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
PDS Tech Commercial is seeking an experienced Facilities Technician to oversee building management operations for a key client in Auburn, WA. This role is responsible for maintaining critical infrastructure, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing leadership in support of safe, efficient, and reliable facility operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and maintain building systems including HVAC, refrigeration, UPS systems, and generators, ensuring proper functionality through routine checks and preventive maintenance.
Oversee contractors and vendors, ensuring adherence to scope of work (SOW), service level agreements (SLAs), and company standards.
Manage inventory, tools, and supplies by preparing purchase requests, sourcing materials, and performing periodic audits.
Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements; maintain documentation, building drawings, and compliance records.
Identify safety hazards, implement corrective measures, and coordinate with local QRA & EH&S management.
Provide leadership by assigning work orders, supervising contractors, and fostering accountability across facility operations.
Perform general maintenance and troubleshooting across electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, and lighting systems.
QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
5–7 years of facilities, building management, or maintenance experience.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, power systems, and general building infrastructure.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and compliance records.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Details: $38.00 per hour
