The function of the Facilities Team Member (FTM) is to maintain the facility in a clean and orderly manner, ensure restrooms and other areas are supplied with consumable supplies, and ensure rooms are properly set and equipped for particular functions. The FTM is responsible for regular and special trash, as well as assists in unloading and storage of donated items and supplies.
ResponsibilitiesDescription of Position:
Clean facilities as asked by Facilities ManagerClean outside facilities as asked by the Facilities Manager.Assist with unloading trucks as they come each dayAssist with Christmas and keeping areas clean for staff and clients.Meet with vendors when asked by Facilities Manager.Assist in doing floors and carpets as asked by Facilities ManagerEnsure all trash is cleaned up around the building.Inform Facilities Manager about repairs needed.Complete mowing and lawn work, as needed, around the building as per the Facilities Manager.Any other duties assigned by CO, Assistant CO, and Facilities Manager. QualificationsRequirements:
High School DiplomaMinimum of 3 years experience working in maintenance.Possess a valid PA driver’s license, with the ability to be approved to drive a Salvation Army vehicle. As a Mandated Reporter, must provide proof of having completed training on recognizing and reporting child abuse meeting the training standards of PA Act 153 of 2014 within 30 days of employment with recurrent training required every five years thereafter.Meets the Child Protection Clearances required by PA Act 153 to include PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check and FBI Criminal Record Check.Must possess an appreciation for and support the mission of The Salvation Army.Contact: Please submit your resume and cover letter as instructed below.
