We boldly go. **Where is the work:** On-Site (5 days) Position Summary The Facilities Supervisor supports the Facilities Manager by coordinating and overseeing maintenance operations to ensure equipment and facilities are properly maintained and functioning efficiently. This role supports a variety of tasks—including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC support—to ensure a safe, efficient, and reliable facility. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, routine inspections, and responding to urgent facility needs. Key Responsibilities + Assist the Facilities Manager with prioritizing repairs, acquiring parts, scheduling preventative maintenance, and assigning work orders. + Lead, supervise, and train the maintenance team, ensuring efficient and effective completion of tasks + Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure regular upkeep of equipment and facilities + Conduct inspections of equipment and facilities to identify maintenance needs and prioritize tasks + Coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance activities and minimize disruption to operations + Train and mentor team members to improve their technical skills and knowledge + Monitor inventory levels of maintenance supplies and equipment, order as needed to maintain min/max levels + Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report on team performance to management + Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with team members, management, and other departments. + Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines + Ensure and promote compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance activities + Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to manage and track maintenance activities + Identifies parts to order for projects, work orders, preventative maintenance, and repair of equipment. + Assists with general office and shop initiatives as needed, helping to improve the business + Works closely with other technicians in a team environment, offering technical advice, status information, and other help as needed. + Communicates effectively with project managers and teammates regarding issues of project scope and schedule. + Problem-solving: Ability to quickly identify and resolve issues with creativity and resourcefulness + Ability to work with vendors, contractors, and other service providers as needed + Basic understanding of building construction and systems. + Familiarity with lock out/tag out (LOTO) procedures and mechanical safety. + Commitment to continuous improvement and proactive maintenance practices. + Responsible for approving timecards in Kronos + Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required. Flexible scheduling, including on call responsibilities for facility emergencies Qualifications + High School Diploma or GED required. Degree or coursework in Industrial Maintenance Technology or related field preferred. + Minimum of 3 years of facility maintenance experience preferred. + Previous leadership experience preferred. + Basic mechanical and electrical competencies required. + Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems a plus. + Self starter with strong preventive maintenance instincts. Physical Requirements + Ability to lift to 50 pounds occasionally. + Ability to stand or sit for extended periods. + Frequent bending, lifting, climbing, pushing, or pulling. + Ability to reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl when necessary. + Comfortable working at elevated heights with fall protection. + Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions. + You must wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). **Annual Base Salary Range or Hourly Base Pay Range:** $65,200.00 - $118,860.00 **Compensation Type:** Salary **Incentive Eligible:** No **Sales Commission Eligible:** No **Disclaimer** : We strive to provide competitive compensation for this position, tailored to a variety of factors.
