Facilities Supervisor
Job Description Insight Global is seeking a hands-on and experienced Facilities Supervisor to support manufacturing operations at a leading production facility in Norwood, MA. This individual will oversee daily facility operations, manage maintenance staff and contractors, and ensure all systems and equipment are running efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and external vendors to drive reliability, compliance, and continuous improvement across multiple facilities. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: -Lead troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance for facility equipment and systems Manage vendor relationships and service contracts for HVAC, fire safety, waste management, janitorial services, and other facility systems -Interpret schematics and technical documentation to resolve equipment issues -Develop and execute maintenance schedules using CMMS tools -Promote energy efficiency and sustainable building practices through data-driven strategies -Ensure compliance with ISO 13485, EHS protocols, and OSHA regulations -Support emergency response planning, business continuity assessments, and safety initiatives -Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance -Identify and implement improvements to facility reliability, uptime, and efficiency -Assist with strategic facility growth planning and infrastructure upgrades -Approve purchase requests, change orders, and vendor invoices -Train staff on facility policies, procedures, and safety protocols -Perform other duties as assigned by management Must-Haves: -Proven experience in facilities management within a manufacturing environment -Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and safety regulations -Experience managing contractors and service providers -Proficiency with CMMS systems and technical documentation -Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills -Ability to work onsite in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment Compensation: $70,000 to $105,000 per year annual salary. Skills and Requirements -10+ years of hands-on facilities management experience in manufacturing; medical device or regulated industry preferred -Strong knowledge of HVAC, fire safety, electrical distribution (208V/480V), and building maintenance systems; geothermal experience a plus -Proficient with CMMS and digital tools for reporting, trend analysis, and proactive maintenance planning -Skilled in using diagnostic tools (multimeters, anemometers, manometers) to troubleshoot and resolve facility issues -Familiarity with GMPs, ISO 13485, OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and local building codes -Proven ability to align facility operations with production and business needs -Strong vendor management and subcontractor coordination experience -Experience leading facility upgrades, renovations, and capital projects -Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in fast-paced environments -Effective communicator across all levels of the organization; able to work independently and cross-functionally -Self-starter with a hands-on, proactive approach and positive attitude -Associate degree in manufacturing technology, mechanical/electrical engineering, or related field preferred
