Facilities / Structure Engineer

Summary: Seeking a Facilities / Structure Engineer with expertise in building design, heavy structural aero test equipment, and aerospace ground test facilities.

Requirements:

BS or MS in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Architecture Over 5 years of experience in Design Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Building Construction oversight Strong knowledge of Structural Engineering and Architectural principles Working knowledge of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Experience with FEM modeling using RISA, ANSYS or similar programs Familiarity with national building and design codes such as IBC, Eurocode, AISC, ACI, NFPA, FM Global, CE compliance Proficiency in Technical Specification Writing Strong CAD skills (AutoCAD, Revit, Solidworks preferred)

Preferred Skills:

Ability to travel up to 20% internationally

Responsibilities:

Overall building design and construction management Detailed design of heavy structural aero test equipment Designing facilities for jet engine test cells and wind tunnels

Pay Details: $70.00 to $80.00 per hour
