Facilities Services Specialist

Invitae, part of LabCorp, is seeking a Facilities Services Specialist to join its team in San Francisco, CA. This position will manage vendor relationships, coordinate repairs and maintenance, and support building systems operations. This role also handles facilities ticketing, procurement, and compliance documentation, while partnering with the Site Lead on key projects. The ideal candidate is organized, resourceful, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.

The schedule for the position will be: Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm

Responsibilities:

Schedule maintenance workManage facilities vendors and contractors Handle requests for repairs and upgrades Manage building systems (HVAC, electrical, etc.) Maintain records of building operationsSchedule and oversee Facilities equipment preventative maintenanceFacilities ticketing management and routingWork independently on behalf of the Site Lead to complete minor projects, schedule meetings, manage vendors, and liaise with Facilities Technicians.Partner with Site Lead on major facilities projectsAssist with event planning and logisticsParticipate in 24-hour emergency response chainProcurement of Facilities, EHS, and Ergonomics supplies and services.Manage facilities compliance documentation, service reports, SOPs, COIs, invoicing system, and other critical documents

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree2 years relevant experience in an operations role. Minimum 1 year experience in a facilities related roleAbility to read and understand facilities drawings, handbook formulas, and a variety of maintenance and repair related equipment, including measuring instruments such as caliper and scaleStrong written and verbal communications skillsExcellent organizational skillsProficiency with MS Office suiteExperience with budget managementExperience with vendor managementAbility to lift up to 25lbs

**Pay Range: $20.00 - $32.00 / hour

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
