This job contributes to Starbucks success by managing all operational aspects of facility support services in the Starbucks Support Center, our corporate headquarters in Seattle, including building and equipment repair & maintenance, Environmental, Heath, and Safety standards execution, janitorial services, and other general operations responsibilities. **As a facilities services manager, you will…** Planning and Execution - Develop strategic and operational plans for the function, while managing execution, and measuring results: -Perform analysis and planning for capital expenditures and operating budgets for facilities operations and services. -Own operational budget, managing regular financial processes to ensure spend his accurate and within budget. -Implement cost reduction strategies while maintaining appropriate service delivery. -Plan and manage business unit and department processes and practices to ensure that programs are aligned with company business goals and objectives. -Plan, implement and operate space and facility services programs across multipurpose workspace environment. -Prepare, communicate and educate key stakeholders on changes in policies and practices within the organization. Business Requirements - Providing functional expertise and executing functional responsibilities: -Develop effective working relationships with the building landlord, vendors, procurement and information technology departments, and with internal customer partners and departments to assess needs and provide services. -Develop preventative maintenance programs and monitor building systems and equipment for end-of-life cycle replacement planning. -Develop, implement, and operate company programs for administrative and facility programs and services including janitorial services and company sustainability initiatives. -Negotiate corporate offices and company-wide service and supply contracts with vendors. -Oversee and manage performance of delivered services and vendor programs and integrate vendor requirements with company systems to ensure service delivery meets quality standards. -Plan and implement operations and services business continuity and corporate offices emergency management programs. -Oversee execution of Environmental, Health, and Safety standard operating procedures, partnering with cross functional peers to periodically review and update program **We’d love to hear from people with:** **-** Development of policies and programs in a growth organization 10 years -Facility maintenance management 10 years -General office administration 10 years -Management of vendors and service providers 10 years -Cross-functional relationship building and collaboration 10 years -Budget Management 7 years As a Starbucks partner, you (and your family) will have access to medical, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life insurance, and other voluntary insurance benefits. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.
