We are seeking a committed Facilities & Services Coordinator to work at Afungi site, Northern Mozambique in a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension.

About the Project:
Mozambique LNG is a major strategic energy project valued at approximately $18 billion. It began following the 2010 discovery of extensive natural gas reserves off the northern coast of Mozambique. Onshore facilities include 2 LNG trains (total of 13 mtpa), LNG and Condensate storage, Marine Facilities (Jetty and loading facilities), Utilities and Early Site Infrastructure (Resettlement Village, Security works, airport, permanent camps, and roads). Onshore EPC contracts contract value is approximately $9 billion, including Construction at circa $4 billion. Site Personnel on Board is expected to peak at 15,000. Main Responsibilities: Inspire safety commitment in Client and all Contractors and Subcontractors teams via deep knowledge of HSE and leadership by example. Ensure compliance with all relevant HSE requirements across works to promote a healthy and safe work environment. Analyze and report performance of all Contractors and Subcontractors activities, identify any deviations/risks and contribute to timely propose mitigations to Project Management Team. Requires a strategic thinker, an individual who has worked within a support services role delivering major projects. With strong administration, planning, coordination, execution and reporting skills to support the delivery of services to the project. Analyze data, generate work scopes for DUAT specific projects and generate dashboard reports for management. Responsible for identifying and developing control processes for DUAT associated activities that span across multiple interfaces. Plan, coordinate and execute interface meetings at Afungi with Area 4, Contractors and other proponents for DUAT related interfaces. Provide support and oversight of the day-to-day DUAT related operations and incremental projects. Assist with the development of strategic papers and plans to support DUAT services, such as – bed / office / aviation forecasting, life support services (fuel, water, food), oversight of DUAT related projects. Build relationships with Company onsite EPC Contractors, Sub-Contractors, Area 4 and other proponents. Attend execution reviews to ensure understanding of work scope and execution requirements and constraints associated with operations throughout the DUAT. Engage with key stakeholders to develop and/or review DUAT related operational processes/controls. Identify, gather and evaluate project risks. Coordinate with project controls to ensure that risks are properly recorded and managed. Forward thinking and ability to identify future risks and appropriate mitigations. Prepare weekly reports and consult with project control personnel on dashboards and reporting requirements for the DUAT Services Team. Coordinate with both the HSE team on initiatives, incidents and investigations. Drive the HSE requirements into documentation and monitor through work execution, motivating and coaching personnel on the importance of HSE throughout the workplace. Execute assignments or special projects at the request of the DUAT Services Manager. Participate / lead DUAT related interface / operational workshops to gather improvement initiatives and lessons learned opportunities. Motivate and coach/mentor peers throughout the project. Assist to gather and validates ‘lessons learnt’ from all project team and provides feedback. Accountabilities: Responsible for construction activities within a specified area in close collaboration with EPC Contractor as per project rules including project objectives for HSE, Quality, Schedule and Cost aspect. Identification and coordination of DUAT operational interfaces across the Support Services function – Camps, Aviation, Marine, Ground Transport, Logistics and DUAT projects. Coordination with other departments for the safe and on?time execution of the work, to deliver a fit?for?purpose facility. Qualifications & Experiences: Education: Diploma or vocational training or equivalent in a support service-related environment. Understanding of general support services required for a major EPC project with appreciation of commercial and contracting requirements. Minimum of 5 years of experience. 10 years’ experience in related discipline work and suitable general knowledge in oil and gas industry. Strong HSE culture and safety leadership, effective communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence critical decisions.
