Facilities Network Lead

**MANTECH** seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Facilities Network Lead** to join our team in **Chantilly, VA.**
The **Facilities Network Lead** must exhibit good judgment in interfacing with all government and contract personnel, providing proper examples of work performance, and adherence to professional standards and operational and security guidelines as defined by the Government and ManTech International, Inc.
**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:**
+ Provide hands-on experience and expertise in the installation and management of public and/or private networks such as Internet protocol (IP) networks, wide area networks (WANs), switches, routers (Cisco), and troubleshooting servers and networks to provide maximum performance; analyze network and construction drawings to make recommendation; create network and server rack elevation drawings and develop infrastructure requirements for network rooms.
+ Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members and business partners, troubleshoot complex issues; assist design of network installation configuration for new sites, support decommissioning of a site, and assist in moves, support computer systems and peripherals.
+ Coordinate with internal and external teams for procurement, installation, and management of network related inventory (switches, routers, servers, storage solutions, etc.); travel to customer sites and perform deployment activities to include, site surveys, install hardware, install software, remove hardware, check hardware for shipment that connect to network; organize and direct hardware installations and support site surveys.
+ Conduct training sessions to ensure all team members are cross trained in supported technology and provide Tier III network technical issue resolution, that also include infrastructure-related problems; direct and lead preparation of drawings documenting network configuration changes at each site.
+ May lead functional teams or projects requires depth and/or breadth of expertise, and all other tasks as assigned by the Network/Server Lead; conduct site surveys; assess and document current site servers or network configuration and user requirements; prepare drawings documenting configuration changes at each site.
+ Prepare site installation, conduct Network Troubleshooting, analyze existing requirements and prepare specifications for hardware acquisitions.
+ Prepare engineering plans and site installation Technical Design Packages, prepare drawings documenting configuration changes at each site, prepare trip plan and trip reports.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ 8+ years of experience in Information Technology; Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or Business Administration or a Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Sciences; work experience and/or industry certifications demonstrating technical proficiency may be substituted for education requirements.
+ Understanding of cybersecurity concepts and policies.
+ Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, effective decision-making to include experience in Customer Service.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft 365 Productivity applications.
+ One or more technical certifications (Comp TIA Network+, Security+, Microsoft, VMWare, NetApp, etc.) required.
+ Must be able to deliver clear and effective communication both verbally and non-verbally to deliver updates; briefings; or interface with co-workers; leadership as well as customer.
+ Occasional travel up to 25% CONUS and OCONUS.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ One or more technical certifications (Comp TIA ITF+, A+, Network+, Security+, CTT+, MSMCT, MS Endpoint Administrator, etc.) highly preferred.
+ Experience contributing as part of an Agile team.
+ Experience using Visio
+ Current active Secret clearance strongly preferred
**Clearance Requirements:**
+ Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain an Interim Secret clearance prior to starting this position.
**Physical Requirements:**
+ Must be able to physically lift equipment weight up to 50 lbs.
+ Must be able to perform installation work in constrained spaces like under work desks, in small cubicles, and counter window environments.
+ Must be able to remain in stationary position for up to 50% of the time.
+ Must be able to deliver clear and effective communication both verbally and non-verbally to deliver updates; briefings; or interface with co-workers; leadership as well as customer.
+ Must be able to work in an office environment and be able to freely move within this space to utilize office equipment as well as interface with co-workers and customer.
+ Must be able to effectively use IT peripherals such as laptop, desktop, printer, fax machine, etc.
+ Must be able to deliver presentations as needed.
+ Must be able to review; decipher and understand program manuals; software/hardware manuals; training manuals; etc.
