Facilities Manager – JLL

What this job involves: As a Facilities Manager at JLL, you will serve as the single point of contact responsible for facilities management while assisting the Senior Facilities Manager and/or Account Leader with the delivery of quality facility management services. This role requires you to coordinate and manage tenant requirements and service delivery to ensure satisfaction while supporting short and long-term goals and projects for the client. You'll develop and implement innovative programs, processes, and procedures that reduce operating costs and increase productivity by working closely with the Senior Facility Management Lead, Account Leader, and the client that reflects JLL's commitment to operational excellence and client satisfaction.

What your day-to-day will look like:

Strategic Support and Implementation:

• Support Senior Facilities Manager and/or Account Lead in implementation of short and long-term goals and projects for client

• Develop and implement innovative programs, processes, and procedures that reduce short and long-term operating costs while increasing productivity

• Work closely with Senior Facility Management Lead, Account Leader, and client to deliver strategic initiatives

• Assist with development and implementation of annual management plan for buildings within assigned area

Operations Management:

• Manage work assignments for building technicians, vendors, and contractors with comprehensive oversight

• Lead facilities staff to deliver expected service levels to client within prescribed budget parameters

• Manage contractors when on site ensuring adherence to all client and JLL policies while ensuring correct service delivery

• Oversee overall service delivery of contracted services while ensuring compliance with Client and JLL policies regarding delivery, safety, and compliance

Financial Management and Reporting:

• Oversee monthly/quarterly/annual reporting requirements appropriately based on client needs

• Complete all facilities-related reports accurately and on time following client's policies for record keeping

• Oversee development and management of capital and expense budgets by interfacing closely with client representative

• Recommend capital improvements and prepare operating budget reports with monthly operating budget and forecasts

• Complete monthly variance reports while managing financial performance within established parameters

Client Relationship Management:

• Ensure client satisfaction with site leadership team by providing seamless interface between client real estate organization and facilities

• Demonstrate leadership, responsiveness, and creativity that develops and maintains positive relationships

• Coordinate and manage tenant requirements and service delivery to ensure comprehensive satisfaction

• Follow annual performance plan while accomplishing Key Performance Indicators as agreed with client in Performance Agreement

Continuous Improvement:

• Share innovations and best practices with assigned owner of best practices for JLL Facilities Management

• Identify opportunities for service enhancement and operational efficiency improvements

• Implement best practices and innovative solutions that enhance service delivery and client satisfaction

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Facilities Management with management/technical emphasis

• 6+ years industry experience in corporate environment, third-party service provider, or as consultant

• Strong leadership and management skills with proven track record of team leadership

• Strong interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement and relationship building

• Strong communication and presentation skills for professional client interactions

• Ability to manage both technical and administrative staff with comprehensive oversight

• Proficiency in MS programs including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and other business applications

• Computer proficiency in CMMS system for effective work order and asset management

Preferred Qualifications:

• MBA degree for enhanced business and strategic management capabilities

• Experience with capital improvement planning and budget variance reporting

• Background in contractor management and service delivery oversight

• Knowledge of compliance requirements and safety protocols in facilities management

• Understanding of performance agreement management and KPI achievement strategies

Location: Onsite - Las Vegas, NV

Estimated compensation for this position:

88,000.00 – 99,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
