What this job involves:

The Facilities Manager is responsible for the daily management and delivery of soft service programs across a very large, multi-site corporate campus. This role oversees janitorial, landscaping, workplace experience, elevators, and additional soft services, ensuring consistent quality, cost effectiveness, and compliance with client and JLL standards. The Facilities Manager partners with the client, Senior Facilities Manager, Engineering, and Project Delivery Services (PDS) to provide a seamless, professional workplace environment.

What your day-to-day will look like: 

Service Delivery & Operations

Oversee the day-to-day performance of janitorial, landscaping, elevators, workplace experience, and additional soft service programs.Ensure services are delivered in line with scope, service level agreements (SLAs), and key performance indicators (KPIs).Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and quality checks to ensure compliance and service excellence.Support sustainability goals by driving recycling, waste diversion, and environmentally responsible practices.

Client Partnership & Reporting

Serve as the point of contact for the client on day-to-day soft services issues, escalations, and service updates.Provide timely reporting on service performance, cost tracking, and vendor compliance.Partner with the Senior Facilities Manager to identify opportunities for process improvements and client satisfaction enhancements.

Vendor & Financial Management

Manage vendor contracts and relationships for assigned soft services, holding partners accountable to performance standards.Review and approve vendor invoices, track expenses, and support budget adherence.Assist in developing cost-saving initiatives without compromising service quality.

People & Team Leadership

Supervise and support workplace experience staff, facilities coordinator, and vendor teams delivering soft services.Provide coaching, training, and development to ensure high team performance.Foster a culture of collaboration between JLL staff, client partners, and vendors.

Collaboration with Engineering & PDS

Coordinate with JLL Engineering to ensure soft service delivery aligns with maintenance activities and building operations.Support PDS on project-related activities by ensuring service continuity and readiness of impacted areas.Provide input on operational impacts during projects, shutdowns, or space changes.

Required Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalentBachelor's degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, Finance, Project Management, Engineering, OR 7+ years of Facilities Management experienceMinimum of (5)+ years of proven 3rd party provider facilities or workplace management experience with emphasis on soft services.Proven vendor management and contract compliance experience.Strong organizational and communication skills with ability to engage directly with the client.Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, track costs, and deliver value.Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including Engineering and Project Delivery Services.

Preferred Qualifications:Proficiency with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) such as CorrigoMilitary experience is a plus.
