Facilities Manager Job ID 237038 Posted 05-Sep-2025 Service line GWS Segment Role type Full-time Areas of Interest Building Management, Facilities Management Location(s) Blansko - Jihomoravsky kraj - Czechia, Brno - Jihomoravsky kraj - Czechia **About the Role:** The Facilities Manager (FM) is responsible for managing all aspects of facilities service as detailed in the Local Facilities Agreement scope of works and will report to the appropriate Regional Operations Manager. In this capacity, the jobholder will be the person responsible for the service delivery at specified location(s), which will be measured by contractual Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreements according to the CBRE/JCI Global MSA. The role will have functional accountability for designated client site(s) and the jobholder is responsible for client satisfaction relating to CBRE FM scope service delivery. The FM is responsible for working directly with the local client to ensure a thorough understanding of their objectives and the implementation of acceptable property-specific operating strategies that achieve these required standards. Once developed the FM must oversee the implementation of all approved initiatives and programs, by managing and coordinating the efforts of the FM team (eg. service providers, contractors and building employees) to achieve the account goals. The role can be extended by additional responsibility for other client locations in an adequate area and distance. **What You’ll Do:** · Act as the key FM interface between the local clients and the CBRE Regional Operations Team creating alignment between client’s needs and CBRE organisational delivery · Develop, gain consensus for, and implement the Best Practice/ Building Operation Plan for assigned portfolio and lead the resources to deliver against the local targets, managing scope interpretation + Ensure clients perceive exceptional value from CBRE through executive reporting, dashboards, case studies, relationship workshops, professional reporting standards, operational playbooks and exceptional quality charters + Manages on site issues, escalation and resolution effectively · Accountability for financial performance relating to the managed location(s). Work with the Financial Manager to prepare the final budget documentation/plans and administer the works to ensure budget compliance month by month and YTD/YTE. · Influence the client’s planning and budgeting process to enhance value and optimise performance · Inspect facilities and equipment to determine extent of service and equipment required and liaise with client for asset lifecycle management/planning. Recommend, justify, develop and coordinate with theClientteam, projects that enhance the value of the client buildings. · In conjunction with the Procurement Specialist, competitively bid and prepare all service contracts to assure high quality and cost-effective services. Assemble and analyse contract bids, submit recommendations and prepare the standard form contract agreement for theAccount Managerfor execution. · Maintain role as primary contact for service requests generated by the client’s staff. Proactively meet withClient’s local Management on scheduled basis. Communicate regularly with the client’s Management and staff, providing necessary support and information on the status of all areas under his management. · Contract for services as described within the operating budget, management plan and/or management services agreement. Work close together with the Sourcing Manager to document all relevant supplier contract terms and conditions. · Ensure all defined services are completed in accordance with the MSA and LFA, all operating procedures, statutory requirements, and within the Health and Safety guidelines. · Check and control technical services in line with the asset list/PPM and contract requirements month by month. · Book receipt of supplier invoices in accordance to the delivered services on monthly basis. · Proactively involved in ensuring services are reviewed and refinements made to enhance FM services across the assigned portfolio. · Develop a close working relationship with all of the vendors under his/her control to ensure they fully understand theClientculture and are made to feel part of the team delivering a highquality service. · Managing FM related projects as required by the client **What You’ll Need:** + ·Have strong leadership behaviour and act as a positive example for your team.·Motivate your team to outstanding flexibility and performance.·Complete daily tours of all assigned buildings and grounds.·Assure compliance with Best Practice documents with the assistance of the SFM or Account Operations Manager. Assure compliance with CBRE/client policies, procedures and standard practices.·Demonstrates credibility and thought leadership for all site operations·Coordinate response to more complicated Client service requests and assure follow-up.·Directly supervise employees reporting to the assigned buildings.Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with CBRE policies and applicable laws. Ensure training of staff to fulfil legal requirements, especially in the area of fire protection, technical safety and personal safety.·Be “Hands On” regarding all relevant technical urgent repairs and emergency responses.
