What this job involves: As a Facilities Manager at JLL, you will be the driving force behind creating exceptional workplace environments that empower our clients and their teams to thrive. You'll oversee the comprehensive management of facility operations, ensuring optimal functionality, safety, and efficiency across commercial properties. This role places you at the heart of shaping a brighter way for building occupants through strategic planning, vendor management, and innovative problem-solving. You'll collaborate with diverse stakeholders to deliver seamless facility services while maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence. Your expertise will directly contribute to creating environments where people can perform their best work, reflecting our commitment to fostering spaces where everyone is empowered to succeed.

What your day-to-day will look like:

Oversee daily facility operations including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building automation systems

Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure timely maintenance and repairs

Develop and manage facility budgets, tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities

Conduct regular building inspections and safety assessments to maintain compliance with regulations

Lead emergency response procedures and business continuity planning initiatives

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support space planning and workplace optimization projects

Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to facility operations and tenant satisfaction

Required qualifications:

3+ years of experience in facilities management or building operations in a lead or manager role

Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and safety regulations

Familiarity with hard services or technical programs (HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, electrical)

Ability to manage multiple projects or tasks at one time

Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and Microsoft Office Suite

Excellent communication and vendor management skills

Valid driver's license and ability to travel between multiple properties as needed

Preferred qualifications:

Professional certification (CFM, FMP, or similar facilities management credential)

Experience with LEED or other sustainability programs

Project management experience and PMP certification

Knowledge of building automation systems and energy management

Previous experience managing multi-site portfolios
