What this job involves:As a Facilities Manager at JLL, you will oversee comprehensive facility operations with a focus on relationship management, compliance, and operational excellence. You'll lead both technical and administrative staff while ensuring service delivery meets or exceeds client expectations. This role requires balancing strategic planning with hands-on leadership to manage vendor relationships, maintain regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Your expertise will directly contribute to creating safe, efficient, and cost-effective environments that support our clients' business objectives while upholding JLL's commitment to excellence.
What your day-to-day will look like:Direct facilities staff and service providers to ensure seamless work execution with minimal disruptionDevelop innovative programs and processes that reduce operating costs while enhancing productivity and client satisfactionPrepare and manage facility capital and operating expense plans, tracking variances and mitigating financial risksSupervise dedicated engineering staff and mentor team members in performance and customer service skillsMaintain comprehensive CMMS system management for in-house staff and outside contractorsPerform quality assurance inspections to ensure service levels meet established standardsImplement and monitor safety protocols to achieve zero recordable incidents and 100% compliance with safety programsCollaborate with stakeholders to identify, develop, and execute projects supporting client goalsRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Engineering or equivalent combination of experience and education5+ years of relevant facilities management experienceStrong leadership, relationship building, and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated proficiency in managing vendor performance and service contractsExperience with CMMS systems and preventive maintenance programsKnowledge of industrial facilities operations, safe work practices, and building systemsProficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsPreferred Qualifications:Certified Facility Manager (CFM), Facility Management Professional (FMP), or Sustainability Facility Professional (SFM) designationsExperience implementing operational enhancements that reduce costs and improve satisfactionTrack record of maintaining zero environmental permit violationsBackground in managing critical facility operations with minimal disruptionsExperience developing and implementing innovative facility management solutionsStrong background in safety program management and complianceExperience with financial planning and budget management for facilitiesLocation:
