Our client, a quantitative investment firm, is seeking a Facilities Manager in New York, NY. The hours are 9am-6pm or 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee upcoming office move, including identifying and scoping new spaces, coordinating logistics, and managing seating assignments
* Serve as liaison between technology and people teams
* Manage vendor relationships, including building management and external contractors
* Review and support contract negotiations and office-related agreements
* Handle day-to-day facilities needs including supply orders, office troubleshooting, and basic tech support
* Monitor office budgeting, spreadsheets, and cost tracking using Excel
* Interface directly with the CEO and other executive stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and execution of strategic facilities plans
Qualifications:
* 8-15+ years of experience in facilities or office management
* Experience overseeing office relocations is required
* Must have experience reviewing contracts and supporting negotiations
* Proficient with Excel and general budgeting practices
* Strong communication skills and comfort interacting with senior leadership
* Strategic thinker who is also willing to be hands-on with day-to-day operations
* Degree preferred
Compensation/Benefits:
* Base salary up to $140K plus bonus
