About the role:

The Facilities Manager will support the Microsoft Portfolio Manager and JLL Account Head and serve as the primary interface with local stakeholders, understanding and addressing their needs through the effective coordination of all facilities and services. The role is responsible for ensuring service levels meet or exceed expectations, while applying industry best practices and implementing efficient methodologies aligned with client business strategies, financial objectives, site requirements, and applicable regulations. Compliance with both JLL and client policies is essential.

What this job involves:

Oversee consistent, high-quality delivery of facility management services across sites in Taipei and New Taipei City.Implement local and regional initiatives, focusing on customer satisfaction, service efficiency, cost control, and team performance.Execute plans within defined scope, budget, and timeline.Develop and maintain a site-level strategic facility management plan, operational manuals, and escalation processes.Source, contract, and manage Tier-2 service vendors.Oversee contract and service provider performance.Manage operational and financial aspects of facilities, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking (Opex and Capex).Ensure technology platforms and data management strategies are effectively deployed.Provide regular reports—monthly, quarterly, and annually—on facility operations.Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords in alignment with RE&F expectations.Coordinate emergency response procedures and attend related training.Manage the work order system; dispatch requests, track service performance, and monitor customer satisfaction.Support and report on EHS programs and compliance.Monitor sustainability metrics (energy, water, waste) and recommend improvements.Identify continuous improvement opportunities and communicate cost-saving initiatives.Develop and manage a capital renewal program for asset life-cycle management.Support space upgrades, refurbishments, lab setups, relocations, and provide technical input on air/power requirements and EHS standards.Troubleshoot and maintain lab environments.Demonstrate a growth mindset and embrace Microsoft cultural values.

Interested?  An ideal candidate would need to have the following qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience, such as IFM, PM, Real Estate or MEP, of which at least 3 years should be in a supervisory capacity.Strong communication skills to engage effectively across all organizational levels, vendors, and customers.Solid knowledge of supervisory principles, practices, and techniques.Excellent command of English in listening, speaking, reading, and writing (TOEIC 850+ required).Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project.Ability to work independently and respond decisively in emergency situations.
