SUMMARY 
The Facilities Manager has primary responsibility for all plant equipment and maintenance at CHI.  He/she participates, coordinates and directs the design, planning, construction, maintenance, and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings, and other facilities by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate or peer supervisors.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintains an electronic system for maintenance work orders and PM follow up (e-Maintenance)Maintains an inventory of critical spares parts on hand for critical equipmentOversee and perform maintenance of all facility infrastructure and equipmentImplement and maintain preventive and/or predictive maintenance programs to improve facility/equipment uptimeManage vendors, contractors, and service providers who support equipment and infrastructureInspect plant and evaluate use of space and facilities to maximize productivityReview utilities consumption and strive to minimize costsAnalyze firm's HVAC systems, computer network wiring, lighting, and other factors.Establish and maintain periodic operational testing schedules for critical systems and equipment.Plans, budgets, and schedules facilities modifications including cost estimates, bid sheets, layouts, and contracts for construction and acquisitions.Develops long range plans, conceptual designs, and capital outlay requirements and documentation for facility.Maintain maintenance records in an orderly fashion; deliver reports and KPIs timely and accuratelyActs as liaison to public utility, environmental, and energy agencies.Inspects construction and installation progress to ensure conformance to established specifications.Oversees the coordination of building space allocation, layout, and communication services.Oversees and directs maintenance personnel and workers engaged in equipment installation, facilities equipment repair, and preventive maintenance.Other duties may be assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.Supervise maintenance team members and support development of staff, serving as mentor and technical resource for technician troubleshootingObserve and coach employees to maintain high standards of work; motivate, develop, counsel, and provide direction to help team deliver highest quality installations, repairs, and preventive maintenance.Maintains a multiskilled development plan for the maintenance technicians

Qualifications:

Preferred Experience in manufacture of Aerospace composite components, Demonstrated success in managing the maintenance/repairs of all equipment in an industrial facilityA background that includes hourly employee performance management and employee coachingBS in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or related discipline or BS/BA with 4+ years experience in maintenanceJob requires to be trained and able to handle hazardous waste.Authorized to work in the U.S.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Employees will receive 80 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays.
