The Role:
The role of the Facilities Management Representative is to serve as the Single Point of Contact and Building Owner all for the facility needs, including Maintenance, Housekeeping, Roads & Grounds. You will be responsible for the development and administration of service contracts. You will work closely with all of our Business Partners to ensure a high level of delivery of facilities services to our tenants and their communities in which they work. Your role is also to partner with our GM communities and lead the transformation of our workspaces with a goal to finding better, more creative and more efficient ways to be their best and building places people want to be.
What You'll Do: (Responsibilities):
Responsible for daily interface and coordination of all facilities related activities for their respective building(s) and/or business unit to ensure high quality and timely delivery of building maintenance and housekeeping servicesMaintain open communication between the tenant and Facility Management/LeadershipDrives strategic and analytical planning to optimize building and facility services guided by industry benchmark standards including: space utilization, energy efficiency, Service Agreement deliverables, and On-Demand activities.Drives successful planning and execution Global Manufacturing System (GMS) principles and elementsEnsuring issue and resolution of daily tenant needs and longer term projects by pulling in the required resources such as Engineering, Resource Management, Communications, Real Estate, and Administration ServicesManage required PMs, repairs and testing of back-up.Manage required PMs, repairs and testing of computer room UPS systemManage repairs and upgrades for the Plant Security systems. This includes surveillance Cameras and Badge Entry, Plant Fire Alarm System, etc. Support and Share responsibilities of Fire system in plant and underground repairs and maintenance activities with team.Update and revise Asset database (ACAP) system as it relates Facilities building systems.Develop scope, cost estimates and timing for new facilities related projects. Use appropriate procurement systems (SAP, PDPM, NPP) to schedule and manage projects with contract or internal resources.Ensure all GM safety policies, Safety Contract Management and procedures are followed by contractor and internal resources.Execute projects within budget and complete on schedule. Coordinate project implementation with plant departments to insure no unplanned production disruptions. Develop scope documents and write purchase requests for all contracts required for above stated work. Use GM purchasing software and follow approved purchasing processes. Manage purchase orders and pay invoices for all contracts. Provide month end accruals for all contracts to finance department.Work with plant environmental department as required to ensure all contracts meet required environmental compliance for implementation and disposal requirements.Work with plant environmental group to develop projects as required to ensure plant remains in environmental compliance. This may include monitoring of utilities, maintaining integrity of containment areas, creating projects to comply with new regulations, etc.Interface with UAW and comply with the local and national labor agreements.Interface with GM Audit Services and Legal Staff, as required.

Bachelor's degree Engineering or Facilities Maintenance/Management or equivalent training/experience5+ years experience in Facility/Building Systems, Plant Management and/or Property Management processes or similar domain/industry.Working knowledge in business application software (Microsoft office, Corrigo, Maximo, Power BI) and other related electronic tools.Communicate proficiently to all levels of the organization (Shop floor to production supervision, including plant staff)Ability to work over-time, weekends, holidays, etc. as neededWhat Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications):
