Responsibilities:
Preventative Maintenance: Plan, schedule, and oversee preventative maintenance projects to proactively maintain the assigned facility and equipment.
Facility Upkeep: Ensure the facility is kept in top working order through routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
Operational Safety: Be directly responsible for the operational safety of all client and employee spaces.
System Repairs: Resolve light to moderate plumbing and electrical issues as they arise.
Cosmetic Repairs: Handle cosmetic repairs (e.g., painting, patching drywall, fixing minor fixtures) when necessary to maintain the facility's appearance.
Compliance & Documentation: Work closely with the Chief Engineer to ensure that all necessary certificates, licenses, permits, and inspections are current and properly documented.
Working hours: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
Skills:
HVAC/Mechanical Aptitude: Experience with or knowledge of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems or other complex mechanical systems would be highly valuable.
Record Keeping: Strong ability to maintain accurate logs and records related to maintenance activities, inspections, and compliance documents.
Troubleshooting: Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills to quickly identify the root cause of facility issues.
Independent Work Ethic: Proven ability to manage a workload, prioritize tasks independently, and respond effectively to emergency repair requests.
