Join more than 400 team members collaborating on the two-building campus to help put breakfast on the tables of millions of consumers in North America. **Responsibilities** **Position Summary:** The **Facilities Maintenance Technician II** is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of the Lakeville Corporate facilities and associated equipment, including HVAC systems, boilers, grounds, and more. This role ensures a safe, functional, and efficient work environment while supporting food safety and quality practices in accordance with SQF standards and internal Construction and Repair processes. The technician also supports office space modifications, shipping/receiving operations, and warehouse functions across multiple locations. **Duties and Responsibilities:** + Perform routine and preventative maintenance on building systems and infrastructure (e.g., doors, docks, lighting, roofs, HVAC, irrigation, parking lots). + Maintain and repair facility equipment including elevators, sprinkler systems, and security systems. + Support Pilot Plant maintenance and respond to off-hours emergency calls (nights/weekends). + Operate and maintain company vehicles. + Conduct life safety audits on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. + Coordinate with contractors and vendors, including obtaining quotes and overseeing work. + Manage grounds maintenance. + Maintain organized and clean maintenance and storage areas. + Oversee furniture installation and office reconfigurations, including minor design and fabrication. + Travel to other company locations as needed. + Manage shipping/receiving functions and coordinate inter-building deliveries. + Perform wall repairs, painting, and installation of wall coverings. + Order and procure supplies and equipment both online and off-site. + Coordinate IT, low voltage, and power-related vendor services. + Support recycling and sustainability initiatives. **Qualifications** **Qualifications:** **Education & Certifications:** + Two years of technical schooling or equivalent experience in mechanical, electrical, or facility/building carpentry. + Valid driver’s license required. + Forklift certification required (or ability to obtain) **Experience:** + Proven experience in facilities maintenance, including preventative maintenance and repair. + Familiarity with plant operations and government safety regulations. + Experience working with contractors and managing vendor relationships. **Skills & Abilities:** + Strong communication and customer service skills. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Ability to work with confidential information. + Manual dexterity and physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. + Comfortable working at heights (up to 30 ft), in confined spaces, and in varying environmental conditions. + Proficient in using tools and equipment related to building maintenance. + Willingness to wear required PPE. **Work Environment:** This position involves both indoor and outdoor work in varying conditions, including exposure to extreme temperatures, noise, dust, and potentially hazardous equipment. The role requires frequent physical activity such as climbing, lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. The pay range for this position is $59,423 - $83,191 per year.
