The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for supporting the preventive maintenance program by carrying our effective maintenance routines, repairs, prolonging the useful life and optimize the efficiency of Facilities equipment.

This position reports to the Facilities Maintenance Manager and is part of the Maintenance Department located in Logan, UT and will be an on-site role.

What you will do:

Perform a full-range of maintenance activities on buildings, all building-related equipment, and production equipment. Working conditions can include: Facilities Engineering shop environment, safety hazards including welding, grinding, electrical work, high-pressure equipment, chemicals, dirty/toxic work areas, and noise. Required working extra hours and weekends as needed. Promote an environment of continuous improvement and innovation in line with lean thinking and maintenance best practices.Ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with the Good Manufacturing Practices requirements maintained by the company.  Comply with EHS regulations and policies.

Who you are:

High School Diploma with basic skills/knowledge in mechanical, electronics, instrumentation, or related fields.Works within clearly defined standard operating procedures. General skills and related to maintenance and facilities activities.Follows the appropriate Work Order task description.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role

Ability to travel within four sites in same city.Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lb.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Relevant working knowledge of a regulated industry and GMP.
