Job Summary:
The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for miscellaneous activities including building and grounds maintenance and improvements, and constructing manufacturing workstations, shelving, and tooling.
Essential Functions:
Perform / assist with tasks not currently assigned to employees, contractors, or vendors in maintaining or improving the Lynnwood site buildings and grounds, and general facilities manufacturing support activitiesSafely work with hand and electrical tools including ladders, lifts, drills, hammers, tractor with mower, shovels, pruning tools, ratchets, wrenches, pneumatic tools, skill and table saws, pressure washer and painting toolsPerform various yard and building maintenance tasks including painting, cleaning, and repairing building doors, signs, posts, steps, rails, walls, etc.Perform minor landscaping, sweeping, pressure washing, etc.Build production benches and shelving assembly projectsClean, organize and move materials in out-buildings, spaces and shedsAny other task assigned by supervisor or managementNon-Essential Functions:
Clean and maintain tools and work spaces as neededProvide support to other facilities employees as neededSign off work as performedOrganize daily activities as priorities are setMinimum Qualifications:
Experience: Some experience using mechanical and electrical tools for general maintenance, construction, or related applicationsKnowledge: Knowledge of general mechanical principlesSkills/Abilities: Ability to follow verbal and written directions, mechanical drawings, and diagrams; Ability to complete general maintenance tasks with minimal supervision; Basic computer and math skills; Ability to work with other facilities and production personnel as a team on projects and to adapt to changing instructions or conditions; Good hand-eye coordination, ability to climb and work on 12ft ladders and work from heights up to 25ft on man lifts; Ability to operate a tractor with brush cutterEducation/Certification: High school diploma or equivalent, or technical/trade school degree/certificateEligibility Requirement: This position may require access to Controlled Data or Information. Where the position requires such access only US Persons will be considered. Salary range: $25.18 to 31.61. Several factors contribute to actual salary, including experience in a similar role or performing comparable job responsibilities, skills, training, and other qualifications. Some roles may be eligible for participation in performance-based bonus programs.
