Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

The Maintenance Technician will oversee the general upkeep and repair of multiple buildings on a large, peaceful campus. This role involves painting, sheetrock/drywall repair, irrigation system repair, and minor troubleshooting and repairs across various trades, including HVAC, electrical, and carpentry. The engineer will have two employees reporting to them, requiring strong organizational and planning skills for event setup and teardown.

ResponsibilitiesPerform general upkeep and repair of buildings.Conduct painting and sheetrock/drywall repairs.Repair and maintain irrigation systems.Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, and carpentry issues.Organize and plan for event setup and teardown.Supervise two employees.Essential Skills3+ years of maintenance or handyman experience.Strong troubleshooting and repair skills.Excellent communication and attention to detail.Ability to prioritize tasks and plan effectively.Additional Skills & QualificationsLead or supervisor experience preferred but not required.Ability to work independently and as a self-starter.Why Work Here?

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
