Grocery distribution warehouse in Denver, PA is looking for 3rd shift Facilities Maintenance Techs to join their team. Long term opportunity with plenty of growth opportunity in the Mechanic role. 3rd shift: 10:30p - 7:00a Tuesday - Saturday (OT as needed)
Pay Range - $24-30/hr based upon experience
POSITION PURPOSE:
•\tRepair and maintain facility and equipment including HVAC, refrigeration, conveyor systems, sanitation equipment, material handling equipment and battery replacement. Must also accurately diagnose and repair company assets to eliminate downtime, extend assets usable life and diminish equipment malfunctions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
•\tEnsure that all equipment is operating properly and safely. Perform periodic and general maintenance tasks throughout the facility as assigned and according to schedule. Includes hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, carpentry, and building maintenance, major overhaul of equipment, fabrication of parts, air conditioning and heating system installation, adjustment, system design changes and calibration, and repair of electronic and pneumatic controls.
•\tPerform daily inspection of doors and dock plates, banana rooms, and all other building and support areas. Recognize problems and repairs before breakdown occurs. Independently troubleshoot and repair problems using advanced skills including electronic repair (programmable control and relay logic repair, programming and design).
•\tRepair rack as required. Repair or replace batteries and chargers as needed. Replace damaged or burned out lighting fixtures. Repair ammonia and Freon refrigeration systems.
•\tMaintain complete repair order records.
