Maintenance Mechanic - 2nd Shift

Location: Onsite at Duramax facility in Brookville, OH

Shift: 2nd

Position Summary

The Maintenance Mechanic provides skilled maintenance and repair services to preserve building physical assets, systems, and equipment under the direction of Facility and Operations Managers. This is a 2nd shift position.

Key Responsibilities

Manufacturing Process Equipment

Service and repair HVAC equipment including air supply units, rooftop units with gas heat, and air-cooled chillersMaintain tank farm operations, reporting, and equipment repairService bulk fluid totes and dispensing equipmentMaintain oil mist collectors and backup generatorsManage spare parts inventory

Mechanical Systems

Diagnose and repair pumps, motors, speed/feed systems, and hydraulicsPerform HVAC/R maintenance including temperature control and indoor air qualityExecute preventative and predictive maintenance programsService backflow preventers, compressed air systems, and utility metersWork with building automation and monitoring systems

Power & Building Systems

Maintain normal and emergency power systemsService uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systemsSupport building utility and piping systemsRequired Skills5+ years facility maintenance experienceStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteDetail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilitiesValid forklift and aerial lift operator licensesAbility to work 2nd shift schedulePreferred SkillsJourneyman certification in HVAC, Electrical, Machine Repair, or Mechanical craftsExperience with controller programs (Allen-Bradley, Fanuc, Siemens)Knowledge of Grobb systemsFamiliarity with MAXIMO maintenance management systemExperience with industrial equipment troubleshootingPerformance ObjectivesComplete work orders within 24-hour timeframeAchieve PM completion targets and environmental compliance reportingMaintain safety training compliance and utilize pre-task planningSupport client scorecard objectives and safety processesEnsure IPMP compliance requirements
