Maintenance MechanicWhat this job involves:As a Maintenance Mechanic at JLL, you'll provide essential skill sets required to maintain and repair the physical assets of buildings, systems, and equipment, working under the direction of Facility and Operations Managers on third shift. Your role encompasses a broad range of responsibilities from manufacturing process equipment to mechanical systems diagnosis and repair, ensuring optimal performance of HVAC systems, power systems, and building automation. What your day-to-day will look like:Troubleshoot, service, and repair industrial HVAC equipment including air supply houses, rooftop units with gas heat, air-cooled chillers, and associated systemsPerform maintenance and repairs on manufacturing process equipment, tank farm operations, bulk fluid totes, dispensing equipment, and oil mist collectorsDiagnose and repair mechanical systems including pumps, motors, speed and feed systems, hydraulics, and controller programs (Allen-Bradley, Fanuc, Siemens)Execute preventative and predictive maintenance programs to prevent equipment breakdowns and optimize performanceMaintain building systems including automation systems, monitoring systems, utility and piping systems, and emergency power systemsManage spare parts inventories and utilize maintenance management systems such as MAXIMO for work order completionEnsure compliance with safety objectives including PM completion, safety training, and pre-task planning methodsRequired qualifications:Five plus years of facility maintenance experienceStrong written and verbal communication skills with detail-oriented approachExtensive knowledge of Microsoft Office SuiteExperience with HVAC/R systems, indoor air quality, and temperature controlKnowledge of power systems including normal power, emergency power systems, and UPS systemsAbility to maintain current forklift and aerial lift operator's licenseWillingness to work third shift schedulePreferred qualifications:Journeyman certification in HVAC, Electrical, Machine Repair, or Mechanical craft areasGrobb equipment knowledgeExperience with controller programs including Allen-Bradley, Fanuc, and SiemensKnowledge of maintenance systems such as MAXIMOExperience with backup generators, compressed air systems, and natural gas/water meter calibrationFamiliarity with building automation and monitoring systemsEstimated total compensation for this position:
