Job Description Summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Facility Maintenance Coordinator to join our team in Sydney. This role is pivotal in managing work requests, issuing work orders to contractors, and supporting the Facility Maintenance Manager in delivering maintenance operations. The FM coordinator will also assist the procurement and sourcing team with contractor management activities, ensuring efficient and effective maintenance for NSW Public Schools and Department of Education facilities.

Job Description

This is a 6-month fixed-term role, with the possibility of extension.

Role Responsibilities:

Maintenance Operations:

Manage and triage work orders (reactive and proactive).

Monitor work orders, ensuring timely completion within scope and budget.

Review contractor quotes and completion timeframes.

Conduct audits of maintenance activities.

Manage data accuracy in the Work Order Management System (WOMS).

Reviewing and endorsing claims for all proactive and reactive work orders.

Contractor Management:

Support onboarding and offboarding of contractors.

Ensure contractor compliance with WHS and asset standards.

Participate in Contractor Performance Review Meetings.

Maintain risk management of contractors.

Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of experience in Facilities Maintenance/Management or related fields.

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask.

Proficiency in Microsoft products (Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Proactive problem-solving skills related to service delivery.
