Job Description

CEDA is seeking a reliable and hardworking Facilities Labourer to join our team. Based at our office in Fort McMurray, this position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and functional facility interior, while also caring for the surrounding grounds, including lawn care and snow removal. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in various weather conditions.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning of common areas.Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors as needed.Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.Complete minor maintenance tasks as required including, changing light bulbs, or making minor repairs to walls and surfaces.Assist with minor repairs and maintenance when requiredOperate a variety of tools and light machinery to complete tasks such as roads grounds maintenance, lawn care, and snow removal. Shovel snow from sidewalks, entryways, and emergency exit during winter months.

Role Specifications

1 to 3 years of janitorial or grounds maintenance experience is preferredAbility to operate basic landscaping and snow removal equipment safely.Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word) is preferredAbility to multitask and establish priorities and work independentlyStrong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detailAbility to produce a negative result for drug & alcohol testValid class 5 driver’s license is requiredAbility to lift up to 50lbs
