Job Description
This position requires a candidate with a strong background in forklift mechanics, with a focus on motor controls maintenance. The role is integral to ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of the facility's equipment and infrastructure.
ResponsibilitiesDiagnose, repair, and maintain forklifts and other industrial trucks, ensuring they are in optimal operating condition.Conduct preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure efficient and safe operation.Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues in facility equipment, including HVAC systems and forklifts.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance tasks.Collaborate with other maintenance team members to ensure timely and effective resolution of maintenance issues.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance activities.Assist in the installation and start-up of new equipment and modifications to existing systems.Provide training and guidance to other team members on proper maintenance procedures and safety practices.Essential SkillsHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in mechanical maintenance preferred.Minimum of 3 years of experience in facilities maintenance, with a focus on forklift maintenance.Good abilities for facilities maintenance, including troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance.Experience in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues in forklifts and other industrial trucks.Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.Additional Skills & Qualifications3-5 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in an automated facility with robotics, conveyors, and AGV.Associate's or technical degree preferred if only 1-2 years of experience.Experience with PLC troubleshooting, pneumatics, hydraulics, robotics, and preventive maintenance.HVAC troubleshooting, maintenance, and refrigeration.Why Work Here

Job Type & Location
This is a permanent, direct-hire position based out of Dayton, TN.
Starting Pay: $26-$32/hr, depending on experience
Shift: days - 7:00am to 7:30pm
Schedule: 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on; working every other weekend
Weekly Hours: 36+ hours one week, 48+ hours the next week
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $54080.00 - $64480.00/yr.
6% 401K, 3 Weeks PTO, Quarterly Production Bonus
