Shift for this position can be 2nd shift: Su-Thu 2p-10p OR Tu-Sat 2p-10p ( Overtime and on-call required as needed, with rotating weekly coverage. Must be available to work weekends and holidays in a 24/7 operation) We’re looking for a well-rounded Maintenance Technician to help keep our facility safe, reliable, and running smoothly. This is a great opportunity for someone with a solid foundation in industrial maintenance who wants to grow their skills across a variety of systems, including building maintenance, electrical, plumbing, material handling equipment (MHE), and basic refrigeration. **What You’ll Do** + Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs on facility machinery, equipment, and building systems. + Assist with electrical and mechanical work, including calibrations, sensors, switches, and related components (at automated sites). + Support forklift maintenance to ensure safe, efficient operations. + Perform basic inspections and minor repairs of refrigeration systems (ammonia or Freon). + Document work and communicate updates to leadership daily. + Safely use power tools, welding equipment, and motorized lifts as needed. **What We’re Looking For** + At least **1 year of maintenance experience** (or trade school equivalent) in areas like building systems, forklift, or refrigeration. + Comfortable performing preventative maintenance with minimal supervision. + Proficiency with power and hand tools. + Basic computer skills for logging work and reporting. + Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask. + Clear communication skills to work effectively with team members and leadership. **What You Should Know** + Flexibility is important—this role may require working **weekends or overtime** as needed. + Work environments vary from **cold storage (-20°F)** to **dry storage (up to 100°F)** , with company-provided PPE. + Must be able to lift at least **50 lbs.** (more depending on the facility). + Some locations may require working at heights and comfort with varying noise levels.
