Facilities Engineer Lead

**Job Description**
The Facilities Management Lead provides technical leadership, operational oversight, and strategic planning for mission-critical mechanical, electrical, and infrastructure systems supporting Department of War (DoW) High Performance Computing (HPC) and data center environments.
This role ensures 24/7 operational readiness of critical infrastructure including chilled water plants, HVAC systems, power distribution systems, backup generation, and building automation systems while leading facilities personnel, managing contractor performance, and supporting large-scale infrastructure modernization projects.
This position serves as a primary interface between customers, engineering teams, subcontractors, and leadership to ensure facility reliability, compliance, and mission success.

**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**
-5 years experience with facilities maintenance supporting data center or mission critical infrastructure preferred
- Experience supporting High Performance Computing (HPC) or high-availability environments
- Expereince leading teams, supervising contractors, and prioritizing work load
- Experience supporting construction and infrastructure upgrades
- Ability to speak and present in front of groups of people

- Power Distribution and Emergency Power Systems
- BAS / Controls Systems
- Electrical and Mechanical Troubleshooting
- Blueprint and Submittal Review
**Licenses / Certifications (Preferred)**
- HVAC Journeyman or higher
- Electrical or Mechanical trade certifications

- Data center buildout project experience
- Contract acquisition and funding workflow experience

**Pay Information**
Full-Time Salary Range: $79365 - $134921
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
