This is a full-time on-site role for a Building Engineer/Electrician based in Portland, OR. This position will be responsible for performing routine building maintenance and repairs of building systems that include electrical, plumbing, HVAC/ DDC controls, and operation of the Central Utility Plant. The Facilities department operates 24/7 and shifts are bid by seniority of hire date. This is an excellent career field with opportunities to learn and on-the job training for motivated individuals.

Preferred Qualifications: 

Experience in building maintenance and repair Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team Excellent communication and organizational skills Successfully completed a stationary engineer apprenticeship or stationary engineer apprenticeship, or equivalent training. Trained on using computerized building controls system (DDC) or equivalent experience. Three (3) years experience in central plant operations and maintenance. Experienced in operation and maintenance of fire alarm systems.
