Our client is a global cosmetic care manufacturer and they are seeking a **Facilities Engineer** to be responsible for the upkeep, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the organization’s physical infrastructure, equipment, and building systems. This role ensures facilities remain safe, efficient, and compliant with applicable regulations while supporting overall operational needs.
**Located in Anaheim, CA**
**Contract to hire**
**Pay:** $45-$50/hour
**Responsibilities**
+ Oversee facility upgrades, renovations, and construction projects.
+ Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability.
+ Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and other relevant requirements.
+ Manage facility-related budgets, expenses, and cost controls.
+ Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and service providers for specialized tasks and projects.
+ Conduct facility inspections, identify issues, and prepare detailed maintenance activity reports.
+ Respond to emergencies involving facility infrastructure or equipment.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align facility operations with organizational needs.
+ Implement energy-saving measures and sustainability initiatives.
+ Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, repairs, and facility modifications.
**Skills & Qualifications**
+ Associate's degree preferred;
+ Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, deionized water systems) and production-related equipment (mixing tanks, homogenizers, transfer pumps, product filling tanks, and filling heads).
+ Ability to diagnose and resolve infrastructure and facility issues quickly and effectively.
+ Experience planning, managing, and executing facility-related projects.
+ Working knowledge of cleanroom environments and ISO 3 to ISO 7 regulations.
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with staff, contractors, and leadership.
+ Ability to manage and control budgets related to facility operations.
+ Thorough knowledge of safety regulations, building codes, and best practices in facility management.
