The Facilities Compliance Associate is responsible for the planning, implementation, and auditing of occupational safety and health administration programs. In this role, you will manage the Regulatory Liaison Program pertaining to assigned facilities and additional auditing requirements. Our Regulatory Compliance team performs Environment Care and Life Safety audits throughout the enterprise. When you join Cleveland Clinic, you'll be part of a supportive caregiver family that will be united in shared values and purpose to fulfill our promise of being the best place to receive care and the best place to work in healthcare. **A caregiver in this position works weekdays from 8:00AM - 5:00PM or 7:30AM - 4:30PM at Cleveland Clinic Administrative Campus in Beachwood, OH.** A caregiver who excels in this role will: + Collect and analyze data to identify adverse trends and high loss potential incidents. + Conduct Mock Surveys and Life Safety Assessments of the physical environment and reviews inspection, testing, maintenance documentation for regulatory compliance according to TJC, CMS, and other authorities having jurisdiction. + Perform quality assurance audits of work orders, participate in root cause analyses, corrective action identification, and prepare reports summarizing findings and recommendations. + Conduct classroom and one-on-one or small group training courses of various Life Safety and Environment of Care topics. + Review and monitor adherence to regulatory compliance policies and procedures. + Other duties as assigned. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + Bachelor's Degree in a science, engineering, business, safety, or other applicable field + 2 years of experience within one or more regulatory oversight fields including but not limited to OSHA, EPA, Fire and Life Safety, Infection Prevention, or other similar area + Certified Healthcare Safety Professional (CHSP) OR obtain within 1 year of hire date + Must have a valid driver's license, passport, and be able to travel to local, national, and international Cleveland Clinic facilities Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + Proficient data and computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook Access, PowerPoint) + Flexibility to travel to different locations within Ohio or out-of-state preferred Our caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities.
