Facilities Co-Ordinator
  Job Overview Oversee the smooth running of hard and soft services at our Mitie hub office.  This role is site based and will need to be an excellent communicator to build relationships with numerous site staff, teams, senior management and stakeholders.  They will be a key site contact and point of escalation for anything relating to maintenance, reactive works, on site processes and issues.  There will also need to be a sharp focus on the health and safety of our colleagues, visitors and contractors. 

Main duties

Assist with access for engineers, contractors and operatives who attend site to complete maintenance, reactive, quoted or project works.  Review RAMS and issue permits for required works. Communicate with team leaders, site staff, stakeholders and the wider team to ensure everyone who needs to be kept up to date on specific tasks or changes are in the loop. Support with audits, VIP visits and site walkarounds. Complete weekly routine tasks such as fire alarm tests and weekly flushing. Review fire and water risk assessments and support in closing any remedial actions. Audit work completed on site and raise concerns, issues or requirements for further works so site is kept operating and safe. Complete monthly audits of site and the safe systems of work. Constantly update QHSE boards and communicate any H&S updates or changes to the entire site. Arrange meetings on open tasks with our technical, cleaning, landscaping and waste teams to get updates and expected dates of completion. Review parking requirements and ensure all users are following processes that are implemented. Support with deliveries to site. Attend and help lead monthly building champion meetings. Be the first on site to complete daily walk arounds and get ahead of any problems. Be pro-active in righting any challenges or building user miss-management so standards are kept high.
