Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/innovative-medicine We are searching for the best talent for **Facilities Co-Op** to be in **Gurabo, PR.** + The typical Co-op term is from January, 2026 to January, 2027. + Full time requirement (40 hours per week). **Purpose:** Provide support to the Facilities Management team in evaluating opportunities to reduce expenses associated with gowning use. The task requires the employee to perform the following: assess current consumption, evaluate discard trends, analyze use versus the most common defects, and work hands-on with the operational area to identify the root sources of defects and find opportunities to reduce them. Establish KPI's to confirm effectiveness of the actions implemented. In addition, it will provide support in the evaluation of current Facilities assets included in the FCA program and complete the required documentation to update the system, as per evaluation findings. This task requires field inspection, documentation revision, work hands-on with utilities operators and maintenance planners and corporate Asset Management Team main contacts. **You will be responsible for:** This position must be focused on the following responsibilities: + Evaluate data and define/execute improvements using methodologies to achieve cost reduction goals. + Support the creation of metrics, project plan and updates (continuous improvement cycle). + Engage people thru kaizen teams, improvement ideas generation, and other improvement activities. + Maintenance documentation revision and update. **Qualifications / Requirements:** + Completion of Undergraduate Freshman year at accredited University is required. + Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field. + Minimum GPA of 2.8 is required. + Previous Internship/Coop and/or Academic Research experience preferred. Previous work experience in pharmaceutical industry or related fields of research is a plus. Extracurricular experience such as a student association membership on a related field is a must. + The position requires employee to be fluent in Spanish and English and must have excellent ability to write in English and Spanish; must exercise judgment on the resolution of production problems to meet company standards for quality, cost and critical success factors. + The position requires being proficient in the use of MS Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio. Minitab statistical software knowledge is highly desirable. Basic Statistical and cost analysis skills are highly desirable. + Works effectively and collaboratively with cross functional areas. Ability to assess issues and opportunities, establish priorities, takes ownership and act with a sense of urgency. The candidate must show sense of urgency, initiative, team work and collaboration and Integrity & Credo Based Actions. + Permanently authorized to work in the U.S., must not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future.
