Facilities Technician III

Our work depends on Facilities Technician III joining our team to improve the overall functionality of the facility which is heavily dependent on the daily maintenance of internal and external structures, equipment, and area beautification. Our overall mission is to set the conditions for our customers to utilize the space to achieve their required events without having to worry about external factors getting in the way.
HOW A FACILITIES TECHNICIAN III WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Performs general repairs and office moves in the facility.Assists the Facilities manager with identifying issues, and creating/monitoring active work orders with external resources.Provides direct support to the staff within the facility related to facilities specific issues/maintenance.Works as a member of the operations team responsible for the day-to-day operations within the facility.Ensures that the facility is maintained on a routine basis to ensure customer satisfaction.Employs their general knowledge in basic maintenance skills such as plumbing, electrical, and structural disciplines to either identify solutions, or employ the appropriate resource to solve the issue.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education: Associates of Arts/Associates of Science PreferredRequired Experience: 3+ years of related experienceRequired Technical Skills: Has a basic understanding of the tools utilized to make immediate repairs within the facility regarding such areas as plumbing, electrical, and structural. Understands how to coordinate for external resources, such as DPW to facilitate the handover of maintenance related issues.Security Clearance Level: Secret required to startRequired Skills and Abilities: Basic computer skills using Microsoft products; good oral and written communication; ability to problem solve; teamwork.Preferred Skills: Utilization of basic tools and equipment and is familiar with the basics of plumbing, electrical, structural, and HVAC functionalityLocation: Customer Site
