Description We are looking for a dedicated Facilities Assistant to join our team in New York, New York. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in ensuring the maintenance and operational efficiency of facilities, while collaborating closely with various teams to meet organizational needs. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic environment while utilizing your technical and interpersonal skills. Responsibilities: • Conduct regular follow-ups with landlords to monitor repair agreements and track owner-responsible repairs. • Perform verification walkthroughs and carry out inspections to meet organizational standards. • Maintain detailed records of repair activities in Salesforce and update unit information for client viewings. • Collaborate with the Operations team to coordinate and oversee repair tasks as needed. • Communicate inspection results and findings to Housing Acquisition and Operations teams. • Support the team by performing additional duties as required to ensure smooth facility operations. Requirements · Familiarity with the NYC housing market and rental voucher programs. · Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. · Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. · Critical thinking and problem-solving ability. · Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM software. · Willingness to travel for inspections and meetings. · Ability to ascend/descend stairs as needed.
