Manufacturing Facilitators are our front-line leaders, own the manufacturing process, and lead production associates in order to deliver Safety, People, Quality, Customer Service, and Financial Efficiency goals. **Key Responsibilities:** + Understands and adheres to Ethicon environmental and safety policies/guidelines, J&J Pollution Prevention Goals and regulatory requirements. + Understands and adheres to the J&J standards of behavior. + Provide the first level of supervision in a manufacturing unit. + Supervises in accordance with established policies and methods to meet production commitments. + Assigns duties and actively assists or provides direction to subordinates as required. + Monitors work operations and employee performance. + Responsible for the safety of shift members. + Works under general supervision, with responsibility to make decisions to meet operational objectives. + Erroneous decisions or recommendations or failure to get results may cause delays in program schedules and result in the allocation of additional resources. + Comply with all applicable quality management system, environmental, safety and occupational health policies. (For example, ISO 13485, ISO14001 & OSHAS18001). + Study the need for improvements of existing processes, systems and equipment, and in partnership with related departments, undertakes optimization to increase efficiency and quality and to reduce costs. + Assisting contract negotiations with suppliers. + Able to respond to routine problems independently. + Supervises production operation and work to meet production goals. + Establishes personnel schedules and product lines based on business needs. + Provides input to production flow and identifies potential manufacturing issues as well as operational budgets. + Manages costs to improve business’ financial results. + Administers equipment maintenance and repair. + Maintains records and notifies management of reoccurring issues that may require equipment replacement. + Understands and adheres to JJPS (Johnson and Johnson Production System) principles and standards. **Qualifications** **Education:** Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent University degree required. **Experience and Skills:** **Required:** + Minimum 2 years of relevant professional work experience + SAP, MES, Office/EXCEL or other computer skills + Excellent communication and interpersonal relation skills. **Preferred:** + Supervising experience + Experience in a manufacturing environment + Medical device manufacturing + Experience in a CBA/Union environment. + Practical knowledge and experience with OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) monitoring and automation. + Lean, Six Sigma, Statistical and Analytical problem solving. **Other:** + May require up to 10% domestic and/or international travel to other locations and sites Johnson & Johnson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
