The Fabricator I role involves producing high-quality fabricated parts using various fabrication equipment. This position requires adherence to safety protocols and the ability to work under general supervision.
ResponsibilitiesProduce high-quality fabricated parts utilizing various fabrication equipment.Adhere to safety-related issues including good housekeeping and ergonomic practices.Read and understand procedures, safety sheets, instructions, and policies in English.Carry out verbal instructions and communicate effectively in English.Participate in cross-training and teamwork to enhance skills and processes.Maintain attention to detail and document necessary information.Identify and report any safety or quality issues promptly.Perform basic preventative maintenance on equipment.Essential SkillsAbility to meet work schedule and overtime requirements, including weekends.Capability to lift and carry 10-50 lbs frequently, and up to 75 lbs occasionally.Skills in documentation, team concepts, and basic preventative maintenance.Proficiency in operating basic fabrication equipment.Ability to work in a diverse setting and resolve conflicts effectively.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED preferred.Preferred experience in manufacturing.Quality training and experience with incoming part quality and gage plan completion.Why Work Here?Join a team that values growth and learning, offering opportunities to progress and enhance your skills. Work EnvironmentThis position operates within a manufacturing environment, requiring the use of safety glasses, steel toe shoes, and hearing protection in designated areas. The role involves prolonged periods of stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, sitting, standing, and crawling, along with exposure to loud noises. Proper respirators and other equipment may be necessary in the paint booth area.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
