Welder / Fabricator – Journeyman Level

Pay: $35/hr+ with full Boilermakers Union benefits, including a 100% employer‑paid medical package

About the Role

We are seeking experienced Journeyman Fabricators/Welders to support the production and repair of heat exchangers, pressure vessels, tanks, and related industrial components. This is an opportunity to join a clean, well‑organized shop known for its high-quality work and strong craftsmanship.

We are hiring for both Day Shift and Swing Shift:

Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Monday–Friday)Swing Shift: 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM (Monday–Thursday)Weld Test Schedule

Weld tests are available Monday–Friday at 10:30 AM and 1:30 PM.

Qualified candidates may start immediately or within one week, depending on preference.

Primary ResponsibilitiesPerform 2G/3G Dual Shield (FCAW) welding at a journeyman level.Fabricate components using detailed shop drawings and complex blueprints.Conduct MIG (GMAW) and Flux‑Core (FCAW) welding on pressure vessels, tanks, and heat exchangers.Work with material thicknesses ranging from 10‑gauge to 1.5 inches.Produce high-quality welds, primarily in a single position.Required Skills and ExperienceStrong proficiency with Dual Shield welding in 2G/3G positions.Experience with MIG GMAW/FCAW processes.Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and fabrication drawings.Preferred QualificationsPrevious experience in a job‑shop or custom fabrication environment.Familiarity with stainless steel and other specialty materials.Current membership in or willingness to join the Boilermakers Union.Why Choose Us?Work for a stable, long-standing company with excellent growth opportunities.Access full Boilermakers Union benefits, including pension and comprehensive medical coverage.Learn and grow alongside a team of highly skilled and experienced fabricators.Enjoy a clean, organized, and safety-focused shop environment known for precision and quality.Job Type & Location

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $32.00/hr.
