SUMMARY:
Hydraulic Supply Company (HSC), a division of Motion, is seeking a Build Shop Technician in West Palm Beach, Florida to work in our Build Shop facility assembling hydraulic and electric assemblies for our customers. This is an entry level opportunity for a motivated and talented candidate to grow with a great team and a very successful company.

JOB DUTIES:

Build customer assemblies

Operate Test Stand for functional tests as required

Receive and put away inventory

Prepare orders for shipment (packing, palletizing, etc.)

Interact with computer system to generate inventory pick lists, process orders, and manage upcoming orders

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Typically requires a high school diploma or GED.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

Mechanical aptitude

Ability to read and understand engineering drawings

Attention to detail

Fluid power experience a plus

Work consists of standing at a workbench most of the day

Ability to lift 50 pounds

Familiarity with common office software applications (Outlook, Word, etc.)

Willingness to learn and develop new skills as required

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Requires manual dexterity, arm-hand steadiness and multi-limb coordination. Ability to handle material up to 100 pounds.
