Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator with expertise in 2G/3G Dual Shield Welding and Fabrication. This journeyman-level position involves working with shop drawings and complex blueprints to fabricate various components. You will primarily engage in MIG FCAW/GMAW welding on pressure vessels, tanks, and heat exchangers with material thicknesses ranging from 10 gauge to 1.5 inches.
ResponsibilitiesPerform 2G/3G Dual Shield Welding and Fabrication tasks.Work on pressure vessels, tanks, and heat exchangers using MIG FCAW/GMAW techniques.Fabricate components based on shop drawings and complex blueprints.Handle materials with thicknesses from 10 gauge to 1.5 inches.Ensure quality and precision in all welds, primarily in one position.Essential SkillsProficiency in Dual Shield Welding and Fabrication.Experience with MIG FCAW/GMAW welding techniques.Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints.Experience with welding on pressure vessels and various materials.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in a job shop setting is preferred.Familiarity with stainless steel and a variety of materials.Membership or experience with the boilermakers union is beneficial.Why Work Here?

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portland, Oregon.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $31.00/hr.
