Ecolab, the global leader in premium cleaning, sanitizing and maintenance products and services for the hospitality, institutional, and industrial markets is seeking a Fabrication Specialist (Control Panel Builder) in our Global Equipment group located in Pittsburgh, PA.  The Fabrication Specialist will perform skilled manufacturing functions related to fabricating, wiring, troubleshooting, analyzing, and repairing of electrical equipment.

What You Will Do:

Panel BuildingLay out, assemble, wire, test, and troubleshoot electrical panels from blueprints, schematics, and drawings.Maintain a working knowledge of electrical certifications (UL, CE, CSA, NFPA 508A, etc.)Perform interconnecting wiring on final equipment assemblyTroubleshoot and repair refurbished electrical equipmentTake ownership of projects from start to finish

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalentElectrical Degree or Certification OR 3 years equivalent experience in light industrial control panel buildingExperience reading and interpret blueprints, schematics, ladder logic, production drawings and Bills of MaterialExperience wiring to code

Physical Demands:

The work is performed in a shop environment, with exposure to dust, noise, and odors.

Preferred Qualifications:

Other equipment manufacturing skillsets (examples:  welding, pipefitting, construction)SAP knowledgePLC experienceGood verbal communication and leadership skillsAbility to work proficiently alone, or with a team, to meet project deadlinesProficiency with electrical and shop hand tools (examples:  Multimeter, drills, saws, knockouts, etc.)Basic computer skills (examples: Internet, e-mail, Teams, etc.)Good troubleshoot techniques

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The pay range for this position is $26.80 - $40.20. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
