Ferguson is currently seeking an individual to fill an immediate need for a Fabrication Manager.
Responsibilities Read blueprints and specification to determine the scope of work: locations, quantities, and sizes of materials requiredPrioritize workflow through the shop and use all resources to implement tasks efficiently and effectively to meet delivery deadlinesIdentify all tools required for tasksIdentify safety risks and the precautions required to eliminate those risksResponsible for performance metrics, process improvement, and lean thinkingPrepare, fabricate, install, and fit pipe to specificationsInstall valves, hangers, supports, flanges inside piping system according to plans, and applicable specificationsPerform test to ensure the quality of the pipe and the piping systemsHoist loads using slings, chains, shackles, hooks, cables, and other rigging equipmentQualifications 3+ years of direct supervisory/management experience as a job site foreman, fab shop supervisor, or project manager10 years minimum experience in the mechanical contracting or process piping industryAbility to read prints and illustrate detailed knowledge of pipe fitting procedures and skillsPrevious experience in the mechanical contracting or process piping industry with pipe fitting processes preferredWelding experience is a plus but not requiredMust have good problem-solving abilitiesExcellent interpersonal and communication skills with individual contributors, teams, peers, and leadershipFerguson is dedicated to providing meaningful benefits programs and products to our associates and their families—geared toward benefits, wellness, financial protection, and retirement savings. Pay Range:

$3,712.50 - $8,167.50-
Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
