**Fabrication Manager - $50k - $60k/year** **Job Description** Aerotek is looking for a Fabrication Manager to work at a manufacturing site in Sumter, SC. This person will help develop and improve production techniques. We are seeking someone with a strong focus on housekeeping, safety, quality, and process improvement. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in working with metal fabrication equipment and is a leader who enjoys working on the shop floor and being a part of a growing company. **Responsibilities** + Managing the fabrication operation and employees. + Developing fabrication processes with a focus on improving throughput and quality. + Establishing a safety culture through training and developing procedures. + Establish and maintain a Preventive Maintenance system. + Hiring and developing fabrication teams. **Qualifications** + Steel fabrication experience + Prior management and supervisory experience + Experience working in an environment that drives housekeeping + Experience working with process improvement systems + Experience working with CNC equipment, quality systems, MRP systems, excel **Details:** + **Pay** : $50k - 60k/year + **Shift** : Mon - Fri | 8am - 5pm + **Contract** : 3 month Contract-to-Hire **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sumter, South Carolina. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $26.44 - $28.85/hr.
