We are seeking a Fabrication Engineer to support and oversee fabrication activities for subsea components within oil and gas projects. This role requires 3 to 5 years of experience and offers the opportunity to work closely with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, safety standards, and project timelines.

Job Description and Main Tasks:
• Ensure fabrication drawings, materials, specifications, and procedures align with project and client requirements.
• Provide technical support during fabrication, welding, NDT, coating, and FAT activities.
• Monitor fabrication progress using s-curves and identify potential risks or delays.
• Ensure subcontractor compliance with applicable codes and standards (e.g., API, DNV, ASME, ISO).
• Conduct regular site visits to verify quality, safety, and schedule compliance.
• Interface with vendors and yard subcontractors to resolve technical fabrication issues.
• Coordinate material control, traceability, and certification for subsea components.
• Support HSE objectives by promoting safe work practices and hazard awareness.
• Prepare fabrication status reports, punch lists, and closeout documentation.

Experiences:
• 3 to 5 years of experience in structural and piping fabrication for subsea or oil and gas projects.
• Experience working with fabrication yards and contractors.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting fabrication and engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with project management systems and tracking tools
.

Qualifications / Training Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
• English fluency is required; French is a plus.
