Report to: Home Care Vietnam Lead Job Description Brand, Portfolio & Innovation for Unilever
+ Works with global to lead mid-to-long term portfolio strategy and localize mix development for portfolio of Fabric Cleaning .
+ Ensures game-changing and insight-led innovations and brand campaigns are brought to life to drive business growth, increase penetration, and market leadership.
+ Walks the talk on brand purpose.
+ Ensures profitable, robust funnel sufficiency to fuel growth.
Integrated Business Plans (IBP)
+ Responsible for the IBP process of Fabric Cleaning and ensures integrated annual plans that deliver on growth and financial ambitions.
+ Sets clear prioritization and resourcing for strategic priorities -- including Brand building, product innovation, market development.
+ Leads the team to strong integrated online & offline execution, monitoring and optimization of plans.
+ Strong monitoring of results, with clear prioritization and choices (START, STOP, PIVOT) for all initiatives
Team Leadership
+ Coaches, develops and motivates a team of appx 10 marketing people. From apprentices to experienced employees.
+ Change management: Develops a culture of consumer-centricity, with data and insight as the foundation for successful marketing strategy and execution.
+ Strategically influences other global and local multi-functional teams to land aligned plans.
+ Coaches and develops the team to drive actions with clarity, speed and agility.
+ Talent development and succession planning
Business Partnering
+ Partners with Customer Strategy & Planning, Finance Leadership, Supply Chain and R&D teams to achieve sustained, long-term and profitable growth.
Job Requirements:
+ 15+ years’ experience in marketing roles, with strong experience in country roles is a must . Brand development experience, cost management and sales experience is a plus.
+ Experience in leading total category in a big market.
+ Track record of success and category management under difficult market and competition circumstances.
+ Strong business acumen with P&L management experience
+ Visionary, experience in crafting long term strategic direction of category and the action plans in achieving the ambition.
+ Positive, assertive yet empathetic leadership
+ Good learning agility, agile and open personality
+ Strong ability to communicate in English is a must .
+ Passion for building a high-performing Marketing team and nurturing talent.
+ Strong change management and stakeholder influencing skills in a complex and matrix organization – able to effectively communicate with customers, cross-functional teams, leadership teams, local and regional/ global teams.
